LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Police have released a surveillance photograph from Friday’s attempted robbery at a Lafayette KFC.

Police responded to the Kentucky Fried Chicken on Teal Road on Friday, Nov. 18, around 9 p.m. to a report of a man in the restaurant with a handgun.

Police said the incident is being investigated as an attempted robbery.

An extensive search of the area was conducted, but no subjects were located.
