TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) — A Chicago man convicted of selling drugs to an undercover police officer in Lafayette will possibly be spending the next 15 years behind bars.

Prosecutors say 27-year-old Kwame Riddle met with an undercover cop several times in October of last year to sell drugs.

Court documents state Riddle sold heroin to the cop on multiple occasions and acted as a middle man for the purchase of crack cocaine.

In October, a jury found Riddle guilty on all six counts including two counts of dealing in a narcotic drug and being a habitual offender.

Riddle was sentenced Tuesday to 18 years — 15 of which will be executed in the Department of Corrections, one year in community corrections and two years on suspended supervised probation.
