TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) – Tippecanoe School Corporation leaders met with parents Monday night to discuss plans for the future.
The school board meets with a group of parents of the TSC Parent Counsel every year.
Superintendent Scott Hanback said this year the plan was to discuss facility projects, the potential for a career academy in the county, and possible improvements for the counseling program.
He said it’s a good opportunity to get a different perspective.
“They experience it really first hand through the eyes of their children, many of them are volunteers in the schools and they’re active and engaged in the school process,” Hanback said. “So their input and feedback to us is very valuable to our process.”
The dinner was held at Mayflower Mill Elementary School. There was time allotted for the school to showcase all the positive things happening.
