TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) — This holiday season, you can gift a handmade item to your loved ones while supporting some of your fellow Hoosiers. The third annual Holiday Makers Market will kick off Friday at the Wea Creek Orchard.
Tracy Brickey-Bratton, owner of Walnut Street Traditions, and LaLa Gallery, owner Angela Taylor, stopped by News 18 This Morning to preview the event.
As Taylor described, the Wea Creek Orchard is transformed into a store for three days.
Brickey-Bratton said, “We have about 30 vendors, ranging from knitted items to pottery, candles and leather purses,”
The items will be made by a variety of Indiana vendors.
On Friday, there will be a “swag bag” giveaway. There will be food trucks and People’s Brewing Company vendors on Saturday.
The Holiday Makers Market kicks off Friday, Dec. 2, from 5-10 p.m., and continues through the weekend — Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Wea Creek Orchard is at 5618 S. 200 East in Tippecanoe County.
