No injuries in Wabash County shooting; investigation underway

LARGO, Ind. (WLFI) — Three law enforcement agencies responded to a Wabash County home on a reported shooting early Tuesday morning.

Indiana State Police, the Wabash County Sheriff’s Office and the Wabash Police Department all responded just after 4 a.m. to a home on North State Road 524 in Largo, Indiana. When authorities arrived, they found bullet holes on the outside of the house.

Preliminary investigation revealed an unknown person or persons fired numerous bullets into the exterior of the home multiple times. Investigators said several rounds traveled through the walls into the interior of the house.

There were two people inside the home during the incident, but they were not injured.

No subjects have been named at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
