WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Drivers in West Lafayette now have another option for filling up their tanks.

The new gas station at the West Lafayette Pay Less, located at 2525 N. Salisbury St., opened for business Wednesday.

As News 18 reported back in September, the West Lafayette City Council approved the plans for the gas station despite some having traffic concerns.

Officials said the Kroger fuel center was a nearly $1.8 million investment and will provide up to six jobs.

To celebrate its West Side grand opening, company officials said Pay Less customers can use their Plus-cards at the pumps Wednesday through Sunday at the new location only to receive an extra 20 cents off per gallon.
