Snow showers arrive this morning

Good morning! Much of the area is staying dry for now, but there are light flurries falling in our southern counties. More snow will arrive this afternoon and become scattered as highs rise into the lower to mid 30s this midday. However, temperatures will begin to drop through the afternoon hours.   Snow squalls will be a possibility this afternoon through Tuesday. The heavy pockets of snow falling with wind gusts up to 30 MPH may cause the visibility to drop! Near whiteout conditions is a possible with blowing and drifting snow.
